If you have a good mattress but it needs a bit more padding and a new look, you may consider a mattress over quilt. The over quilt is a mattress topper that is quilted like the top of a mattress and it has sides with some stretch. The sides also have a heavy elastic fitted sheet type bottom edge which helps keep the over quilt in place. Our over quilts will fit up to a huge 15 inch thick mattress. If your mattress is not very thick, the sides of the over quilt can be tucked in. The advantages of the over quilt over a traditional mattress topper is the over quilt will tend to travel less on the mattress because it is more secure in placement. Additionally, the over quilt gives the mattress a new mattress look. Please don't expect the over quilt to fix a sag or body impression in a mattress as it will eventually follow the mattress contours. The over quilt does add additional padding for greater mattress comfort.
