Indiana University Assembly Hall Arena Picture 3
This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the Indiana Hoosiers impressive win over the North Carolina Tarheels, and the first night of the season’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge between two of the most storied programs in all of college basketball. Adding to the evening festivities at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, Hoosier fans were dressed in red to celebrate the “Red Out” game and, as tradition has dictated since 1979, the William Tell Overture played during the third time-out of the second half of the game. The Hoosiers have been part of the Big Ten Conference since 1899, fielded their first men’s basketball team in the 1900-01 season and hold a long history of winning achievements.
