It took artist John Wagner 3 years to draw the skyline. He began by taking 2,000 photographs of the city from the air and at ground level. Then he drew a faithful computer linkness of each building and placed it precisely in the panorama. More then 1,000 structures are depicted in detail; over 500 are identified with informative labels, building name, etc. This illustraion includes the soaring skyscrapers of New York's Financial District and Midtown. The World Trade Center appears in this commemorative edition.
