Formerly known as the RBC Center, the $158-million PNC Arena opened in 1999 and is home to NC State basketball. The arena holds 19,722 fans for basketball events. Prior to PNC Arena, NC State men's basketball was played in the historic Reynolds Coliseum for 50 years. The action and excitement of ACC basketball in the state of North Carolina is a way of life, with friendly rivals NC State, UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University all within a 26 mile radius of each other.
