| Providence, Rhode Island Panoramic Picture
Large Size: 13 1/2 inches x 40 inches!
Panoramic photograph taken by renowned photographer James Blakeway. It shows downtown Providence nestled on the banks of Providence River, which flows into Narragansett Bay. Toward the left, moored at the mouth of the river, is a Cold War era Soviet Submarine (NATO designation – Juliett 484). This ship is one of only two of her class outside the Soviet Union. During the Cold War, she targeted East Coast cities like Washington, DC with nuclear cruise missiles. The two tallest buildings, centered in the photograph, are the Fleet Bank building on the left and the Fleet building on the right. In the distance is the Rhode Island State Capitol with its domed roof.
This fine art print is reproduced on pH neutral heavy art stock with UV resistant ink.
