Our Split Queen Foundation will do anything that a Split Queen Box spring will do except flex. Our split queen foundation is EXTREMELY strong, built to accommodate an innerspring mattress, air bed mattress, tube waterbed mattress or even a waterbed mattress. A foundation tends to make an innerspring mattress a bit firmer than a box spring will as there is no flex.
