First things first. This is a twin extra long adjustable bed frame or mechanism only. What you are buying is exactly what is pictured. You still NEED a mattress. The ONLY reason to buy this adjustable bed from us (besides the fact that its great!) is that you either already own the proper mattress or you are buying the mattress elsewhere. We sell this adjustable bed in combination with a mattress on this site. Now that we are perfectly clear, here is some information on this adjustable bed.
This twin extra long adjustable bed is 39 inches wide by 80 inches long. You can put two of these together to make a king size bed which would then measure 78 inches wide by 80 inches long. A king size adjustable bed is only available as two extra long twins for many reasons including the weight of the mechanism and the fact that having two twin extra longs allows two people to adjust independently of each other. One can sleep, one can watch tv, etc.
You can now have complete control of the way you lay or sleep. By fine tuning your bed position, whether you are watching tv, reading a book, working on a laptop or sleeping, there is a position that will best suit your needs.
